1-Large eggs 6 (420 calories)
2-Sugar 6 tbsp (288 calories)
3-White flour 6 tbsp (174 calories)
Separate the egg whites from the yolks in two separate mixing bowls.
1-With hand held electric mixer, mix well the egg yolks with 3 tbsp sugar .
Mix around 2 minutes until creamy & fluffy and almost doubles in size .
Add the 3 tablespoons of flour , one tablespoon at time and keep mixing each time for thirty seconds.
2-Wash the mixer before you start mixing the egg whites in the other bowl.
Mix well the egg whites until stiff , around 3-4 minutes.
Add 3 tbsp of sugar ,one tablespoon at time.Keep mixing each time for 30 seconds .
Add the rest of flour,one tablespoon at time , mixing well each time for 30 seconds before you put the other spoon of flour.
Pour slowly the egg yolk mixture into the egg white mixture .
Don’t use the mixture and don’t mix vigorously at this point.
I use a plastic spatula to fold one mixture to the other until the colors blend.
3-Use cooking oil spray as needed to coat the baking pan.
*Is hard to count exactly the calories when you use the cooking oil spray.
Since I am not sure how much calories are in the cooking spray ,I just added 118 calories extra to the total calories.
*Spray well the cooking pan and pour the mixture evenly all around the pan as seen in the below picture.
Put the cake to bake in pre heated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
DO NOT OPEN OVEN DURING BAKING
When bakeing is done take the cake out of oven and let it to rest for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, turn the baking pan upside down for the cake to come out .
With the back of a butter knife i tap the baking pan all around in order for the cake to loosen up and to slide out easy .
Take out the cake and let it cool completely .
