String beans with garlic & garnish


  • String beans 255g
    *I used frozen string beans
  • Carrots just for garnish .
    With a vegetable peeler,peel twice the carrot.
    Cut the slices of carrots with the wavy knife in small pieces
  • One cut thinly Garlic clove
  • 1tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1/4 Garlic salt


Put the string beans in medium pot with 3 cups of water.
Put the pot in medium burner ,high heat ,with the cover half way.
Bring to a boil,around 7-8 minutes .
After the water boils let them it continue to cook for only 5 more minutes .
Rinse well with cold water in order for string beans don’t continue to cook.
In a heated wok put 1 tbsp of cooking oil, sauté for 30 seconds the sliced garlic and shredded carrots.Put the string beans and salt .Mix all together for another minute and turn off the burner.
*if you don’t have a wok just use a nonstick or regular frying pan.
