Don’t need a grill to make mouth watering ribs . My husbend does such a good job grilling ribs in the summer and my family missed them for the rest of the year . So I came up with this recipe which has been a crowd pleaser. Each time I served the ribs I am asked how did I make them . Here is my method.
1-Pork ribs close to 2 pounds
Put the rack of ribs in a large baking pan.
Season the ribs well as seen in the picture below. Use your favorites pork seasoning or just seasoning salt .
Put the ribs in 500 degrees preheated oven for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes turn the rack of ribs on the other side.
Let it continue to cook for 20 more minutes.
Preparation for Sweet glaze
While ribs are cooking prepare the sweet glaze .
In a small bowl mix 4 Tbsp brown sugar and with 6 Tbsp warm water. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved completely.
When the last 20 minutes are done take out the ribs and pour the sweet liquid over the rack of ribs. Pictures below shows how the ribs look on both sides after the sweet glaze is poured over. Let it cool for 10 minutes or until safe handle.
Take the rack of ribs out and cut them individually.
Scrape the pan and mix it with the sweet glaze which will add more to the flavor. Pour the glaze over the ribs as seen on the first picture.
Caution : Make sure you wear oven gloves when you handle hot baking pan.
